PROTEODYNAMICS SARL founded in 2005, is a privately held biotechnology company based at Biopôle Clermont-Limagne near Clermont-Ferrand (France).
PROTEODYNAMICS is both service partner and consultant, helping customers to conduct projects during research and development. Our customers are biotech, pharmaceutical and Agro Food companies or research institutions from Europe, North & South America and Mediterranean countries.
PROTEODYNAMICS initiated its own R&D program in 2007. Research of new biomarkers for diagnosis of orphan diseases is conducted in partnership with GReD, INSERM UMR931 / CNRS 6247 (Clermont-Ferrand), directed by Prof Odile Boespflug-Tanguy.
Management
Manfred THEISEN, is co-founder and general manager of PROTEODYNAMICS. He has a Ph.D. in Biology from Heidelberg University in Germany and a habilitation (HDR) from Université d’Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand. After his post doctoral studies at the University of Washington, Seattle (USA), Manfred started his professional career in biotech industry working as group leader and project manager at Transgene, Strasbourg and as VP Research and Development at Meristem Therapeutics (France).
Christine MERLE is co-founder and scientific director of PROTEODYNAMICS. She has a master degree in biochemistry from Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand and worked in different public research positions at INRA, Stirling University (Scotland) and during 6 years at EMBL. Prior to founding PROTEODYNAMICS she gained industry experience as group leader and project leader for extraction, purification and characterization of proteins at Meristem Therapeutics and Bioprotein Technologies (France). |
